Worldwide each year 4, 93,243 women are diagnosed of cervical cancer of whom 2,40,000 women die of this disease (WHO). India contributes more than ¼ of the global burden. Each year about 1,32,082 cases of this cancer are diagnosed and more than 74,118 women die of this disease, this cancer being most common cancer of women in our country.

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection is now a well established cause of cervical cancer. Human papilloma virus is a double stranded DNA virus of papovaviride family. More than 100 types described; 30 infect ano genital tract. High risk types of 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59 and 68 are associated with neoplasia. HPV 16 and 18 in 70% of this cancer cases world wide and 45 and 31 with a further 10% of this cancer case. Low risk types 6, 11, 42, 43, 44 associated with genital warts (cardyloma) and do not cause cancer. Almost 100% cancer cases of cervix are associated with HPV, 90% cases of anal cancer, 40% cases each of vulva, vagina, penis and about 12% cases of oral cavity and pharynx are HPV related cancers.

Cervical Cancer ranks the first most frequent cancer among the women between 15-44 years. According to WHO/ICO information centre on HPV and cervical cancer, India has the population of 365.71 million women ages 15 years and older who are at risk of developing cancer. About 6.6% of women in general population are estimated to harbor cervical infection at a given time and 76.7% of invasive cervical cancer in India are attributed to HPVs 16 & 18. Human papilloma virus spread primarily through sexual intercourse. Infection can occur in as little as one month after the fist sexual contact.

]]>

Though HPV is a necessary cause of cervical cancer but is not a sufficient cause. Other Cofactors are necessary for progression from cervical HPV infection to cancer. High parity, tobacco smoking, longterm use of oral contraceptives and coinfection with HIV have been identified as established co-factors; co-infection with chlamydia trachomatis and herpes simplex virus type -2, immunosuppression and certain dietary deficiencies are other probable co-factor.

With the knowledge of HPV (Oncogenic types) as the causative agent of this cancer, two types of vaccination strategies have been aimed at prophylactic vaccine is virus like particle (VLP) <1 vaccine which prevents HPV infection before it occurs and therapeutic vaccine which eliminates existing HPV infection. Therapeutic vaccines are still under trial and are not available globally. The cervarixTM (GlaxoSmithkline) against HPV 16 and 18. The GardasilR (MSD) against HPV types 16 and 18, 6 and 11 both these prophylactic vaccines are approved for use in India. Vaccines are effective against human papilloma virus 16 and 18 responsible for causing 70% of all cervical cancer cases but in phase II as well as in phase III trials these have also shown the additional protection against human papilloma virus types that cause more than 20% of all cervical cancer cases and these have demonstrated efficacy of more than 90%. The most effective time to vaccinate girls and young women is before they become sexually active. The vaccine is ideally administered before potential exposure to HPV through sexual contact. Centers for disease control and prevention’s advisory committee on immunization practices (ACIP) recommended vaccination of young girls and adolescents between the age of 9 to 26 years. Emerging data suggest that the vaccine may be safe and effective in boys, young men and adult women upto the age of 27 – 45 years. Screening for HPV DNA or antibodies are not needed before vaccination. Women with abnormal pap tests or genital warts can be vaccinated. The need for the booster dose has not been established yet.

HPV vaccine is given in three doses at 0, 1, 2, and 6 months by intramuscular injection (0.5ml prefilled syringe) single dose. This requires the refrigeration at 2 – 8 0 c. These are safe as there is no viral DNA in the vaccine and tolerable. The common side effects are injection site reactions, redness, swelling and soreness of mild to moderate severity. These are not recommended for pregnant women due to limited safety data.

Following HPV vaccination these women are required to undergo regular screening programme with pap test as vaccine does not offer 100% protection, hence a need for counseling every woman undergoing primary prevention with HPV Vaccination.

Prophylactic HPV Vaccine offer effective primary prevention for these cancer and seems promising towards the reduction of this cancer burden globally especially in developing countries.

If you have taken an STI test, you are likely to receive your results within a span of two weeks. If the test results are positive, it indicates that you require proper treatment for the contracted infection. Bacterial infections can fortunately be completely cured with the help of antibiotics if taken as prescribed. Azithromycin is one of the most popular antibiotics used for treating bacterial STIs.

Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic and is an effective treatment for a wide variety of bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting the production of proteins that help the bacteria to reproduce and spread in your body. It provides your natural defence system with enough strength to fight off the infection and ultimately destroy the bacteria. You are required to take one single dosage of this pill in order to treat a bacterial STI. You are to take the pill at least an hour before your meal or at least two hours after your meal.

Many people are unable to tolerate high dosages of antibiotic medications. You can instead use antibiotics that are required to be taken on lower dosages. Doxycycline is one of the antibiotics which you are required to take in lower dosages over a span of seven to ten days. As the pill is required to be taken in lower dosages, it also reduces your risk of suffering from side effects that antibiotics can generally cause. Another popular antibiotic that is used for the treatment of sexually transmitted bacterial infections is Metronidazole.

Find out more information on STIs from the online lab testing clinic LabsDirect.com.

The foremost common symptoms of heart disease, other than angina, embrace shortness of breath, palpitations, irregular or quickened heartbeat, weakness, dizziness, nausea and sweating.

Angina or angina pectoris is that the medical term used to explain chest pain. Heart disease treatment may include drug therapy, surgery or implantation of a device to assist maintain proper heart rhythm, like a pacemaker or ICD.

The common symptoms of heart disease are the primary symptoms of heart attacks. In brief, anyone who experiences the symptoms of heart disease ought to see their doctor immediately.

Evaluation by a physician is important to work out which heart disease treatment is acceptable, assuming any treatment in any respect is needed. Self-diagnosis or self-treatment of chest pain isn’t appropriate. Never forget that a heart attack will permanent damage to the muscle of the heart.

There are a number of different diseases of the heart. The aforementioned symptoms of heart disease pertain to coronary artery disease, which is a narrowing of the blood vessels resulting in the guts thanks to a build up of fats and plaque.

Heart disease treatment and risk factors mentioned below additionally pertain primarily to coronary artery heart disease since this can be one of the foremost common of all heart dieases.

Treatment for coronary artery disease or atherosclerosis can be quite effective and can actually reverse the disease process over time. Attention to blood pressure and cholesterol levels could forestall coronary artery disease, that is why regular check-ups, together with blood pressure and cholesterol checks, are so important.

Being male is considered one among the major uncontrollable risk factors for developing heart disease. Different uncontrollable risk factors include older age and genetics. In women, there is an increased risk of heart disease associated with a decrease in natural estrogen levels that occur after menopause or after removal of the ovaries, but hormone replacement therapy, thought to cut back the chance of heart disease at one time, is now not considered beneficial for the purpose.

Risk factors for developing coronary artery disease that are considered controllable embody: high cholesterol, high blood pressure, improper diet, obesity, lack of exercise, smoking, chronic stress, uncontrolled diabetes and inflammation of the arteries. A blood check for C-reactive protein is a notably vital test, because it may reveal the presence of inflammation of the arteries.

Though the symptoms of heart disease may embrace quickened heart rate, increased heart rate throughout exercise will not injury the heart. The heart was meant to be active. It’s a muscle and like every other muscle of the body, it will weaken from lack of use. Regular aerobic exercise will strengthen the cardiovascular system, improve circulation and even improve the symptoms of heart disease, together with heart failure. Most doctors advocate regular exercise as half of a whole heart disease treatment program.

Additionally, an everyday exercise program, together with a cheap diet, can help an individual maintain a normal healthy weight. When obesity may be a factor, even the simplest heart disease treatment options could be ineffective.

Folks who have had surgery as a heart disease treatment scale back the chance that their arteries can become slim again by following sensible dietary and exercise recommendations.

Symptoms of heart disease, like shortness of breath and feelings of weakness might be relieved by beginning an everyday exercise program and creating dietary changes. After all, no one who has been diagnosed with heart disease ought to begin an exercise program without 1st consulting their doctor.

Different health advantages of an everyday exercise program that are directly related to coronary artery disease embody decreased blood pressure, reduced LDL (bad) cholesterol levels and improved sleep.

Sleep apneas, a condition in which respiratory stops for a brief time during sleep, commonly happens in individuals who are inactive and overweight and has been associated with both high blood pressure and heart disease.

Yet another issue that has been linked to both coronary artery disease and kidney disease is a high homocysteine level. Homocysteine is an amino acid found in meat. High levels of homocysteine are related to low levels of B6, B12 and folic acid. Increasing intake of B vitamins and folic acid can break down homocysteine. Folic acid and also the B-vitamins are found primarily in fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Alternative substances found in vitamins, minerals and alternative food compounds and believed to be necessary for heart health are called antioxidants.

Antioxidants fight substances called free radicals, which can cause cellular damage that results in the development of heart disease. One in every of the richest supply of antioxidants currently known is a fruit known as the mangosteen. Also a sensible supply of B vitamins and folic acid, this Asian fruit is solely on the market in most areas in the form of a juice or puree.

Research has proven that the mangosteen contains powerful anti-inflammatories. Unlike synthetic anti-inflammatories which can be ineffective and have unwanted facet effects, scientists believe that natural anti-inflammatories don’t have any side effects and are a lot of effective, as a result of they target a large cluster of inflammatory responses.

Current heart disease treatment will be effective if those that suffer from the disease make the necessary lifestyle and dietary changes. Anyone will profit from efforts to correct controllable risk factors. In addition, making dietary and lifestyle changes can prevent the symptoms of heart disease from planning to heart attack or heart failure.

While the websites that offer ADHD tests can be useful in determining the likelihood that your child might or might not have ADHD they should never be considered as a legitimate diagnostic tool. They simply cannot take the place of obtaining a professional diagnosis. In order for someone to be diagnosed with ADHD they need to be evaluated and assessed by a qualified mental health professional who has experience with the disorder.

Before a proper diagnosis can be made certain diagnostic criteria have to be considered and the specialist uses these criteria in order to make their diagnosis. Your child will only be diagnosed with ADD/ADHD if they exhibit the symptoms that are associated with the disorder and which are out of the normal range of behavior for their age. The symptoms need to be discernible in a number of different situations as well. This means that they are not specific to a particular environment which means that they do not only manifest whenever the child is at school or only when the child is at home. Aside from this the symptoms also need to have been noticeable for some time, usually longer than six months, and they need to have been occurring before the child has reached the age of seven. It is not uncommon for the child to be diagnosed once they start attending school given the fact that they are under more pressure to be organized and are in a more regulated environment.

When it comes to diagnosing adhd your health care provider or the child’s paediatrician or psychologist will use the criteria alluded to above and make their diagnosis according to the guidelines laid out by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). To render the diagnosis he or she will gather info about the child’s behavior from:

- School

- Caregivers

- Parents

The symptoms that your child will need to have exhibited for longer than six months, in a variety of settings and circumstances, and by the time they have reached seven years of age include:

- Being constantly on the go.

- They fidget a lot especially with their hands and feet.

- They make careless mistakes.

- They have a tendency to lose tools and other items they require.

- They seem to not listen even when spoken to directly.

- They are easily distracted by small stimuli.

- They leave work incomplete.

Part of the process for diagnosing adhd in your child will include a complete physical examination. This will also include a discussion regarding your child’s medical history and a screen for other health issues that could be responsible for affecting the behavior of the child. There are some conditions that might mirror the symptoms of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder such as:

- Life changing events – these would include the child starting at a new school, death in the family, moving home, divorce, etc.

- Seizures that have remained undetected.

- Thyroid problems

- Sleeping problems such as insomnia

- Anxiety and depression

- Lead toxicity

Diagnosing this disorder in adults is not as easy for the health care provider as it is when diagnosing it in children because adults are able to adjust to their behavior problems to some extent. Very often a parent might recognize ADHD in themselves once their child has been diagnosed. Sometimes they might seek help for a different issue such as depression and only then discover that they have ADHD.

In adults the symptoms of ADHD are similar to those described in children and include:

- Forgetfulness and a tendency to always be running late

- Anxiety

- Difficulty keeping organized

- Low self-esteem

- Problems on the employment front

- Problems controlling anger

- A tendency to impulsive behavior

Leaving these problems untreated usually results in emotional, social, and occupational problems but before the ADHD will be diagnosed the adult needs to have noticed these symptoms during their childhood and they need to have been persistent.

Those who have always been advocates for herbal medicines have argued through the years about how the herbal medicines are far safer and have the same medicinal powers as prescriptions.

To try and understand the battle you need to understand the difference between the two. Herbal medications are taken only from plants whereas the prescription medications are generally made by using synthetic chemicals. When it comes to which is best, it truly is hard to say since both of them have their good sides and bad sides.

When it comes to cost, more times than not the herbal medicines are going to cost a lot less than the medicines that are purchased via prescriptions. However, the prescription medications are generally stronger than the herbal counterparts, so if a person were to lean towards the herbal medicines and have to take them over a long period of time you will still have to be paying a good amount of money even for herbal medications.

As long as the prescription medications are used exactly as directed, their safety is extremely high and there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. The same goes with the herbal medicines. So the importance is following directions because if either forms of medication directions are not followed a person is bound to run into some problems. However, in some cases prescription medicines can be considered safer since they have standardized amounts of chemicals in them and there are no random ingredients as there might be in an herbal medicine which could increase the probability of the patient having problems. The reason for this it that a lot of herbal medicines can contain a variety of different impurities, something prescription medications don’t. When taking herbal medicine you could be exposed to pesticides, contaminated water in the soil the herbs are grown in and other unknown chemicals that might have gotten into the plant itself.

The results you might get from both herbal and prescription medication is going to vary from person to person. Herbal medicines though may vary even more because they are not regulated or as uniform as the prescription medicines. Prescriptions come in the exact dose with a certain amount of potency in each prescription. With herbal medicine there are a lot of factors that might influence the herbs potency like weather and the soil are two such influences. Since the potency is weaker in the herbal medicines the results are going to be slower as well.

Both prescription and herbal medicines run risks of there being side effects which can cause adverse types of reactions as well as allergic reactions. Generally the prescription medications will cause far more severe side effects than herbal medications because prescription medicine is more potent than the herbal medicines. But then again the prescription medicines have a far better outline and warning system than what comes with the herbal medicines.

Both of these can have their own affect on the environment as well. If either are done incorrectly they can impact the environment. For instance, if herbal medicines are farmed improperly they can cause depletion of the soil, over harvesting as well as habitat loss. The prescription medicines can sometimes cause hazardous waste, use up a lot of energy supplies and cause more trash with their packaging.

These foods are packed with heart-healthy nutrients like the antioxidant vitamin C, potassium, fibers – which are important in regulating blood pressure, hypertension being another disease closely related to the heart – and flavonoids. These foods also prevent stroke.

Since virtually everything in the body, from the largest organ to the tiniest cell, needs oxygen to function optimally in a symbiotic environment, the heart is perhaps the most labored body organ, being primarily responsible for oxygen transport. It is thus tantamount that the heart be kept healthy. This prime human preoccupation of keeping the heart in excellent shape starts with prevention, when heart disease is not yet a medical condition. Diet is a major component not only of prevention, but also as countermeasure in fighting heart disease if it has already developed.

Heart Disease Defined

Heart disease is the “umbrella” term that includes diseases affecting the heart directly and blood vessels. Heart disease is also known as cardiovascular disease. This condition includes arrhythmia, congenital heart defects, hypertension, atherosclerosis, arterial blockage that leads to heart attack, angina (chest pain) or stroke.

The Mayo Clinic identifies heart disease as the number one killer worldwide. In the United States alone, 40 percent of all deaths are related to heart disease. These deaths account for more than all forms of cancer deaths combined. But there is hope, as heart disease and its complications can be prevented or reversed by adopting a healthy lifestyle exemplified by diet and exercise.

Foods that Fight Heart Disease

The following is a list of foods that can be included in a diet aimed at fighting heart disease:

Broccoli is Good for the Heart

Broccoli is a super food that packs nutrients that are effective not only in fighting many forms of cancer, and diabetes, but are also important in the fight against heart disease. Broccoli is very rich in antioxidants, calcium and folate.

The crucial nutrient in broccoli is glucoraphanin, which also fights cancer. Glucoraphanin have been observed to lower the risks of high blood pressure, or hypertension, cardiovascular disease and stroke. Antioxidant molecules attack a single free radical, and then lose their power. But glucoraphanin is a substance that boosts the entire immune system, making antioxidants more potent. Glucoraphanin also has the capabilities of neutralizing multiple free radicals.

Flavonoids in broccoli discourage blood clot formations.

Bananas Help Fight Heart Disease

Bananas are rich in magnesium and potassium. These two minerals help in relaxing blood vessels. Researchers in India discovered that people who ate two bananas a day lowered their blood pressure levels by as much as ten percent. Hypertension is a form of heart disease, and the potassium and magnesium from bananas help regulate blood pressure.

Potassium also regulates the levels of sodium and water in the bloodstream. High levels of sodium and water in the bloodstream raise blood pressure. A word of caution: Bananas are high in carbohydrates, which can send blood sugar to high levels.

A Diet that Fights Heart Disease includes Berries

Berries as a food group includes cranberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. These foods are among the richest sources of antioxidants. These foods are abundant in nutrients like quercetin, kaempferol and anthocyanins, which act like antioxidants that reduce LDL (low density lipoprotein) oxidation. Oxidized LDL attacks arteries.

Berries also contain salicylic acid, which is an anti-inflammatory substance.

In a study entitled Low Intake of Fruits, Berries and Vegetables Is Associated with Excess Mortality in Men: the Kuopio Ischaemic Heart Disease Risk Factor (KIHD) Study, researchers assessed the connections between a diet that includes berries (and other fruits and vegetables) with cardiovascular disease. They found that cardiovascular mortality among men with the highest consumption of berries (and other fruits and vegetables ) were lower.

The study concludes: “These data show that a high fruit, berry and vegetable intake is associated with reduced risk of mortality in middle-aged Finnish men. Consequently, the findings of this work indicate that diets that are rich in plant-derived foods can promote longevity.”

Foods that pack the right nutrients – like Apples, Almonds and Avocados, or Carrots, Garlic, Lean Beef – do have the power to fight heart disease. Why wait for heart disease to develop into a medical condition? The best time to start fighting heart disease is now, when prevention is still possible. But even if heart disease has already developed, the foods mentioned above have the capabilities of reversing the effects of the most dreaded disease of all – heart disease.

Mens health concerns seem to have faded away as women’s health issues have come to the forefront of media and medical attention. Most men take their men’s health concerns seriously only when they become too ill to work or in too much pain to ignore a problem any longer.

The health of men and potential problems are numerous and just as serious as many women’s health problems and require yearly doctor checkups as well. Mens health concerns are often overlooked and some are discovered too late to provide assistance or care for and it simply does not have to be that way.

Men and womens health concerns share a top contender for the cause of death for both men and women and is heart disease. If a man or even a woman changes their lifestyle and makes the necessary visits to their physician, heart disease can be detected and even prevented.

Health can improve with lifestyle changes including eliminating smoking and alcohol from daily life, regular exercise and eating a healthier, balanced diet. Statistics state that approximately 350,000 men die every year in the United States from heart disease and it can be avoided.

Cancer affects a mans health and claim almost two hundred thousand lives every year from lung cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. Again, mens health and lifestyle changes as well as more frequent visits to the doctor can prevent or treat these life-threatening conditions along with the introduction of supplements or herbs like Saw Palmetto for the prostate. The reduction of fat and eliminating smoking and alcohol consumption as well as increasing the consumption of fruits and vegetables into a daily diet can help prevent or maintain health during the treatment of these kinds of mens health issues. Another cancer that can present a challenge and isn’t often heard of is testicular cancer.

A male health concern that isn’t spoken of very often is that men are prone to become affected by both anger management issues and depression. Men are far more likely than women to commit suicide and early recognition and treatment can be effective and improve a man’s quality of life. Mens health issues also include diabetes, obesity, fatigue and frequent urination.

As men it’s critical to stay as healthy as possible. One of the best ways of doing this is to eat a healthy diet and do regular exercise. However, in todays busy world this isn’t always that easy so it’s best to find a workout routine that fits around your work schedule.

Isn’t it harmful for the baby The truth is; pregnant women can exercise and should exercise throughout their pregnancy. They just need to take certain precautions. For instance, when performing aerobics, a pregnant woman’s heartrate should never go above 130-140 beats per minute. If it does, you need to cool down. It is dangerous to your baby for you to overheat. A pregnant woman also needs to concentrate on her breathing. If you need to hold your breath when doing something, then you are doing too much and are over-exerting yourself.

If you have been exercising both with weights and aerobics, you can continue to do so in moderation. But if you have not been exercising, it is not recommended that you begin a new program. If your doctor feels it is alright, then use light or no weights and keep aerobics to just walking.

The following exercises mentioned are designed for who have been exercising prior to becoming pregnant. It can be modified for beginners, but it is recommended that a trainer advises and helps out.

By exercising throughout your pregnancy, you are helping yourself to a better, healthier life and a less intense labor experience.

WORKOUT TIPS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN

1. Drink plenty of water before, during and after your workout. Your baby needs the fluids.

2. Remember to breathe. If you hold your breath for more than a few seconds, you are doing too much and your baby loses precious oxygen.

3. After the first trimester, do NOT do any exercises that require you to be on your back. It puts too much pressure on your organs and the growing fetus.

4. Do NOT perform squats. It can cause the separation of the placenta from the uterus.

5. Perform each exercise slow and fluidly. Do not make any jerky movements.

GOOD EXERCISES FOR PREGNANT WOMEN

1. Any sitting exercise machine. Such as;

lat pulldown (back)

cable curls (biceps)

lateral raise (shoulders)

triceps extensions

leg extensions (quadriceps)

seated leg curl (hamstrings)

seated calf raise

cable crossovers (chest)

2. Use low weight with high reps. Try to perform between 12-15 repetitions in 2-3 sets each. If the last few reps are difficult, you will need to lower the weight.

3. It is not a good idea to do abdominal work after the first trimester. Especially on your back.

There is an old joke about a man who felt he had symptoms of STD. Too bashful to have himself tested, he waited until he couldn’t stand the itching in his organs any more. He finally went to a doctor. The doctor gave him a check up and said, “The infection is too bad, you will need a lot of medication.” Unsatisfied, he went to see another doctor. The second doctor looked him over and said, “The infection has gotten worse, you’ll need an operation.” Still unbelieving, he decided to try untraditional medical advice. He went to downtown and saw a Chinese doctor. Just one look at his organs, the Chinese doctor shakes his head. “No need for medicine. No need for operation!” the Chinaman declares. The man was so relieved and excited. “Really?” he says. “Yes!” said the Chinese doctor,”Infection so bad, pecker will just fall off!”

In really life having STD symptoms is not a joke. Of course, the male organ will not just fall off if he has STD. But leaving STD untreated can lead to far worse medical conditions. With STDs or Sexually Transmitted Diseases, some forms may or may not show any symptoms. The irony of it is that some symptoms are often mistaken for other less disastrous diseases. So the only sure way to find out if what you are having are signs of STDs is to have yourself checked in a reputable STD testing center.

Some STD symptoms in males differ from that of women. If you take a review of the male biological structure, the male reproductive organs are more exposed than that of women. Some symptoms would manifest themselves more visually on males than in females. It is good to know if the physical symptoms you are experiencing are indicative of STDs. Below are examples of the most common symptoms and STDs that occur in males. This however does not serve as a means to self diagnose or be a reason not to seek professional help. It is still best to visit the nearest STD testing clinic.

Herpes

Herpes is caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus 2. The STD Symptoms in Male is the appearance of painful tiny sores and blisters on the penis. These appear on the first outbreak usually within the first 2 weeks of exposure. The sores will appear to heal during the 2 to 4th week. The second stage of Herpes is the appearance of a 2nd batch of sores along with other flu like symptoms such as fever and swollen glands. These sores are mistaken for insect bites or another form of skin disease. If left untreated, these sores are very recurrent. An infected person will experience at least 4 to 5 outbreaks in a 12 month period. The only accurate way to detect Herpes is to undergo a viral and blood test in an STD clinic.

Gonorrhea and Chlamydia

STD Symptoms in Males of these diseases are quite similar. Symptoms of Gonorrhea appear 2 to 30 days after the man is infected. With Chlamydia, the man may or may not have symptoms but if he does it usually appears between the first to third weeks from the day of exposure. This bacterial infection invades the penis and urinary tract causing discomfort every time the man urinates or have sex. The man will also have a burning, itching sensation around the genitals. Pain and swelling of the testicles is also evident. With men, an abnormal discharge comes out of the penis usually white, yellow or green in color. If the man engages in anal sex, he may also experience discharges and bleeding in the anus.
